6G invitation-only event:
CLOUD DATA AND IDENTITY PROTECTION IN PRACTICE
Security and Recoverability in Google Workspace and Okta Environments
Thursday 23.4.2026
Metsolantie 56, Pornainen

Identity and SaaS services form the core operating environment of today’s organizations, but their native protection alone does not guarantee recoverability or provable data security.
In this event, we will delve into how Keepit’s independent SaaS data security and backup protects Google Workspace and Okta environments so that recoverability, auditability and compliance are realized in practice. At the same time, we will examine how the same principles also apply to Github, Atlassian and other SaaS environments.
A warm welcome!

During the event, we get to test how to secure your premises with armored vehicles.

The myth of cloud services: “Yes, your data is securely in there”
Cloud services have changed the IT operating model, but at the same time a false sense of security has been created regarding data protection. We will go through practical scenarios, such as user error, intentional deletion, ransomware or integration error, and consider how quickly data can be restored in such situations. At the same time, we will open up how native protection, version history and retention models of cloud services differ from actual backup and why identity and access privileges play a key role in the operational capability of any organization.

Independent data and identity protection in SaaS environments
How can SaaS data protection be implemented in a controlled manner within modern IT environment? We will focus specifically on Google Workspace and Okta environments and what it means to protect data and identity in these environments in practice. We will also review key principles such as production-independent backup, differentiated storage from SaaS providers, and different levels of recoverability. We will also examine how the same principles apply to other SaaS platforms such as Github and Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence environments.
